On this Imbolc after noon with snow upon the ground
With this Gobblet of water in hand
And oak fire burning in the circle
I invoked the Goddess Brigit
An inspiration she gave me to do and write.
I pour a libation in honor
To the Goddesses and Gods,
I pour a libation in prayer
May Peace, Health and Abundance govern the World
I pour a libation of thanksgiving
To the good folk and land of Sweetwood Temenos
As I stand before the altar and pour these libations
I am a man; I am that I am,
Self-aware life energy form spiraling in space
2008 years from the birth of a man
That died witnessing Divinity in humanity
I witness the Divine life spark,
The Self, the seed that manifests the soul
Rooted in a soil of a universe
Where Goddess and God are ways of being
Evolved from mortal life into immortal light
Theirs a Mystery of the communion of souls
With Mind, Body and Heart
Bonded together by awareness in each other
Of sovereignty, equality, friendship and love
That they create such a Bliss
The exalted and profound pleasure of sexual love
From which a tree of life, a cosmos can arise
Where some trees bare fruit and some not
But all are beautiful by day and night
In their sacred groves along the rivers of paradise
