This Saturday afternoon I arrived and removed the covering to the remains of the Yule fire. I cleaned away the snow from the half burnt logs that were left from the Yule fire. I split some dry white oak wood, gathered kindling and built an Imbolc fire. I got the fire nice and hot and incorporated some of the left over Yule logs into the fire.
I took my runes to and place them upon the snow-covered altar along with some Ewe’s milk from a local farmer who milks Ewes.
I pour a libation to the Goddesses and Gods! I sang of Midwinter and the beauty around me! I poured another libation to the Moon Goddess, our Lady of the next round of seasons and the Sun God, our Lord of the next round of seasons. I poured a libation and sang to the land of Sweetwood Temenos, its Fay and all life upon the land.
I then called upon the Lady to guide my pulling of runes from my bag!
The first rune was for a sister and the energy she needed in this time of turmoil in her life, the rune was Ethel – noble and land.
The second rune was a guide in pursuing, developing and fostering Sweetwood Temenos sexual magic and culture for the coming year, the rune was EOH – horse, Marriage, in this pull I accidentally brought up another rune and it was again Ethel- noble and Land.
The third rune I prayed Oh Goddess, Lady of the season give me an omen and I will write words to see and hear, I pulled the rune OS – a God
And So I wrote:
A God, He speaks, a new order is about to begin, something forgotten, now remembered and dances naked at sunset at the beginning of the day. What is good by daylight and night, the air will speak of and wisdom will conserve. New traditions will receive waters poured from the jar, what the God bears, and new rivers, paths of heart not straight and narrow will flow making the cosmic dance, chance and certainty, air and earth and spirit and flesh. The rainbow bridge is open now, the souls awakens to its Divinity, a way of wholeness; Peace and Love dance and chant around the fire, No more war between women and men, a new spell is woven and the enchantment begins.
Water shared is life shared is love shared, Thou Art Goddess, Thou art God.
May you never Thirst!
